DIY Love Dice for Valentine’s Day made with Craft Attitude

Love can be dicey – so why not spice things up for Valentine’s Day with some love dice? The sides of one die have actions like “kiss” and “tickle.” The sides of the other die have body parts like “cheek” and “lips.” (I tried to be PG-rated here, folks.) These are really easy to make yourself. All you need are some wood cubes (which I found at Joann), a glue stick or spray adhesive, and some Craft Attitude printable film. Here is the free printable I made up with the words for each of the dice. They have been sized to 1 1/4″, which is the size of the blocks I bought.love_dice_printable2

You can download the free printable here by clicking on the links. I have one that’s in reverse as well, for your convenience.

These are the blocks I bought at Joann. They are from Darice, and come in three in a pack for $2.29.

I printed the designs on one sheet of Craft Attitude film, and then cut them into individual squares to fit on the blocks. love_dice2

Then I applied a glue stick to the wood, and placed the Craft Attitude film ink side down on the glued surface. (That’s why it’s important to print in reverse.) I find it easier to place the Craft Attitude film on the surface with the backing still on it. Then when it’s where I want, I peel off the backing. love_dice3

And just like that, something fun for Valentine’s Day. So roll the dice. Do you feel lucky?love_dice_valentines
