Vintage Soda Crate Valentine Arrangement

Posted on January 22nd, 2014 in Flowers

Growing up working in a Chinese restaurant, we served Cokes and other sodas that were in old fashioned bottles and came in wood crates. Who knew that many years later, those wood crates would be called “vintage,” and I would be making floral arrangements with them. The 24 compartments of the crates are perfect for creating a modular arrangement, with something different in each compartment – succulents, cut flowers, even candles. I also made seed packet topiaries that spelled out “LOVE,” using EZ-De’s alphabet stamps from KellyCraft, designed by Ann Butler.
