Long before Pharrell Williams was wearing shorts with his tuxedo jacket, I was wearing shorts with my suit jacket because, well, I did win “best legs” in the 8th grade yearbook poll. A couple of years ago, I bought this short suit at Uniqlo in New York. J. Crew hadn’t caught on to the trend yet, so I was quite excited to see Uniqlo so fashion forward. And bonus: I didn’t have to hem the pants!
Short suits look great with regular neck ties, but they’re also fun with bow ties. (My bow tie here is from Brooks Brothers.) And since there are no long pant legs to cover up the shoes, you can really make a statement down there. Here I wore them with my pink and yellow Cole Haan wingtips. 
I think you would still win that best legs contest mister!
