<p>Anyway, I wanted to make some faux mercury glass, so I checked out some tutorials online. All of the how-to&#8217;s seem to use a mirror finish spray paint, and I couldn&#8217;t find it at my local crafts store, so I did my own version of mercury glass that I think is actually easier because there&#8217;s no spray painting involved. I just use Mod Podge, paint and glitter. I bought a bunch of dollar store glassware, and each was transformed in a matter of minutes. For the step by step tutorial, check out <a href="http://www.ehow.com/how_12341086_make-faux-mercury-glass.html" target="_blank">my article on eHow</a>. <a href="/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/mercuryglass_640.jpg"><img fetchpriority="high" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-1986" src="/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/mercuryglass_640.jpg" alt="faux mercury glass" width="640" height="640" srcset="https://jonathanfongstyle.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/mercuryglass_640.jpg 640w, https://jonathanfongstyle.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/mercuryglass_640-150x150.jpg 150w, https://jonathanfongstyle.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/mercuryglass_640-300x300.jpg 300w, https://jonathanfongstyle.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/mercuryglass_640-125x125.jpg 125w, https://jonathanfongstyle.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/mercuryglass_640-100x100.jpg 100w" sizes="(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px" /></a></p>
