This floral arrangement started with a really big vase. Really big. And it was glass, and you know how I don’t like to show flower stems through the glass. So I inserted a smaller vase within the bigger one, and lined the interior with phalaenopsis orchids. Then I filled the inner vase with lush hydrangeas, lavender roses, lisianthus, peppers, and more orchids to carry them over from the vase. I love these over-the-top arrangements because they tap into my inner Marie Antoinette.
