For the Makin’ Bacon dinner from Amy’s Underground Dinners, which took place at the beautiful LightSpace Studio in Culver City, I went with the theme “When Pigs Fly,” which made me forget, at least temporarily, that I was eating pork. I made hundreds of flying pigs with my Sizzix eClips electronic die-cutting machine, and they flew from the tips of orange IKEA umbrellas. These sat in 40-inch glass vases filled with orange ping pong balls and tropical flowers.
